This paper presents a brief description of the steps that occurred for the modernization of the Revista de Doutrina Jurídica in 2021, a publication created more than half a century ago by the TJDFT. The methodology used was exploratory research, with an ethnographic approach, carried out in the restructuring and architecture of the site with the use of the OJS 3x software. As initial results, we obtained the improvement of the journal through the inclusion of new indexers, updating of the internal regulations, and the implementation of the continuous publication modality. It is hoped that with the new result of the journal's modernization, it will be able to achieve better indicators and better impacts of relevance in the legal area, due to the time it has been in operation.
