Abstract

Academic journal portals emerged with the immersion of electronic scientific journals that proliferated with the customization of the OJS (Open Journal Systems) by the IBICT (Brazilian Institute of Information in Science and Technology) in 2003. This work aimed to identify and learn  about documents, services and institutional links that academic journal portals are publishing on their websites. This is a preliminary and random survey that, despite the limitations understood by the issues involving the algorithm of the search platforms, presents a small overview of the practices disclosed by the portals. The result shows that there is no standard in institutional links, services and practices performed.
