Autores da Revista de Epidemiologia e Controle de Infecção: perfil entre 2019 e 2021

Abstract

 The profile evaluation of the authors who published works in the Revista de Epidemiologia e Controle de Infection, between the years 2019 to 2021, was carried out through a retrospective cross-sectional descriptive study. Data such as gender, institution, state and link to Graduate Programs (GPs) were collected. There were 12 issues published by the journal in the period verified, adding up to a total of 148 articles analyzed with a total number of 275 authors (69,8% women). The South region presented 24,4% of the authors. A total of 13,5% of authors were linked to PPGs. There was a higher percentage of women authors, decentralization of publications between different regions of the country and a low percentage of authors linked to PPGs.
