Quantitative study of scientometric analysis which analyzed the standards for the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in scientific writing in Brazilian health journals. The 100 best qualified journals in the H index were identified, with Qualis higher than A4, in which 32 presented guidelines on the use of AI in their guidelines. Nine journals (28.12%) provided recommendations on the use of AIs, 88.8% agreed with their use, 66.6% advised against listing the AI as the author and 55.5% mentioned international guidelines. It was some Brazilian journals are paying attention to the use of AI in manuscripts submitted to their evaluation process, however, the approach to this issue in Qualis A journals at a national level is still limited.
