Abstract

It is understood that the record of scientific knowledge of an academic and public institution is materialized through its editorial production. In this sense, the publishing sectors of these institutions assume a crucial role in safeguarding this information. Therefore, this article aims to analyze the experiences of the IFRR Publishing Center, highlighting the results achieved and the lessons learned over the period 2006-2024. In addition, it seeks to materialize the detailed record of what has already happened, in order to serve as a guide for understanding future events. To this end, documentary research and qualitative analysis of the content of the documents were used as methodological procedures. These actions brought to light the obstacles faced by the Center along its path and made it possible to rescue the good practices used to overcome them.
