Abstract

Abstract: The technological revolution, especially with the advance of the internet and social networks, has transformed the way we communicate. In Brazil, 86.6% of the population is connected, and 66.3% have profiles on social networks. Given this scenario, this study analyzed the use of social networks in scientific dissemination, with a focus on the Revista Brasileira de Cancerologia (RBC). Through a descriptive case study, the RBC’s strategies on digital social networks were evaluated, highlighting the increase in reach and engagement following the implementation of new digital marketing practices. The study highlights the importance of social networks in increasing scientific visibility.
