Revista Guará: o desenvolvimento de uma revista de extensão universitária

Abstract

In this paper we present the creation and development of a multidisciplinary academic journal focused on extension activities at both national and international levels, named Revista Guará. Created in 2012, the journal has an online version, indexed in the Diadorim, Latindex, and Miguilim platforms. In the most recent Qualis-Capes evaluation, covering the 2017-2020 quadrennium, it was rated as B1 in all areas. This recognition enabled it to receive external financial support through the Call for Support for the Editing and Publication of Scientific Journals – FAPES Call 19/2023. Additionally, it stands out as a university extension publication aimed at national scientific and technological development and is the only publication with this profile in the state of Espírito Santo.
