Caracterização da produção cientí ca da Revista da Rede de Enfermagem do Nordeste - Rev Rene

Abstract

Objective: to characterize the scientific production of the journal of Nursing Network of the Northeast - Rev Rene. Method: A bibliometric study carried out through the scientific production of Rev Rene’s citations in Google Scholar and the journal’s archive in June 2018. Results: between 2004 and 2018, 3,700 papers were electronically published. There were 3,509 citations with index h: 21 and Index i10: 76. The three most cited articles together received 1,268 citations. In comparison, from 2011 to 2018 there were an average of 3,253 publications. The number of citations of the most recent articles increased by a ratio of 2.7: 1 and the impact factor at the ratio of 1.3: 1 at the h index and 1.4: 1 at the index i10. Conclusion: the analysis of the studies that compose the researched population made it possible to draw the profiles: significant quantitative of the scientific production comes from the State of Ceará; the products of the researches were published continuously and consecutively, without a historical break in production, evidenced by the growing number of publications and quotations, allowing to share such production in the national scope, with possible incursion into the international scope, since some of these articles are also published in English and Spanish; interest in studying the subject is recent; and there are still gaps to be researched.
