The journal Biodiversidade Brasileira, BioBrasil, has an 11-year trajectory as an instrument for communicating research results in biodiversity conservation. Seeking to increasingly qualify its employees, it developed the Scientific Article Evaluator course, certified by the National School of Public Administration, Enap. In this work, we reflect after nine months of offering the first class, about the first numbers about the course, such as the number of subscribers who obtained the certificate, total dropout, age group and gender of greater adhesion. It was possible to conclude that the course was successful, but that it is necessary to make a cut in the offer, better characterizing the target audience.
