Evolution and impact of the UNICAMP's Portal of Journals with the use of good editorial practices: an experience report

This paper describes the result of the impact of the UNICAMP's Portal of Jornals [PPEC] on the visibility of its journals by the scientific community. The objective was to analyze the evolution of the journals in relation to good practices. The methodology adopted in this article is classified as descriptive, with a mixed quanti/qualitative approach. Result: through the comparison performed by Harzing's Publish or Perish software, as a tool for mapping the informational flow of the H index, the performance of the journals in the last 7 (seven) years was observed and of Metabase for the accesses was observed.. In addition, the application of the digital identifier [DOI] from 2016 is also highlighted, which provided a big difference in the visibility of the production. It was verified that the Portal journals using good practices, and improvement of their H-indexes, had great visibility and reliability by the academic/scientific community in relation to the qualification of the articles produced and published.
