System of Metrics and Indicators of Portal Educ@: development and use in editorial management

The study aims to present the System of Metrics and Indicators of Portal Educ@, pointing out possibilities of using indicators in the management and monitoring of editorial policies in journals in the areas of education and teaching. The premise is that the quality of a journal must be analyzed from a broad set of information. In this sense, the indicators produced are organized into three distinct categories – production, connection and impact – in order to provide managers of scientific journals with information that can help them make decisions regarding the editorial policies of their journals.
